You Are Welcome Here

Our heart as a church is to WELCOME those far from God into the family of God, so they can know God, find freedom, discover purpose, and make a difference in our community.

our beliefs:

The Trinity

We believe in One Living and True God, the Great Creator, eternally existing in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

The Scripture

We believe the Holy Bible (Old and New Testament Scriptures) to be the Word of God. It is God's only inspired, inerrant, and authoritative revelation of Himself to man in written form.

The Son

We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious death as the only sacrifice for the sin of the world, His bodily resurrection from the dead, His ascension to the right hand of God as our intercessor, and His future return in glory, first to rapture His church and second, to rule and reign a thousand years upon the earth.

Salvation

We believe in the new birth as the only means of receiving eternal life. The new birth involves a cleansing and deliverance from the penalty and power of sin (justification). It is effectuated through faith in Jesus Christ and repentance from sin.
We believe in the eternal redemption of all saints who are faithful to the end.

Christian Living

We believe in the process of spiritual development (sanctification) wrought in the believer's life by the Holy Spirit through yieldedness and obedience. This growth involves a daily dying to sin and living unto righteousness, finds expression in a holy life and will be culminated at the return of Christ.

Power

We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit as an enduement of power available for all believers after salvation. This enduement does not necessarily take place upon conversion but is a gift to be received. This baptism results in a bold witness and a deeper expression of spiritual fruit, a greater growth in Christ-likeness, a genuine manifestation of spiritual gifts, and a more effective prayer life.

Healing

We believe in divine healing for the total man, spirit, mind and body and that this healing is accomplished in the redemptive work of Christ on the cross and appropriated in the believer's life through prayer.

Sacraments

We believe in the sacraments of the church established by Jesus Christ our Lord: the Lord's Supper and baptism by immersion as a symbol and witness of the new birth. These sacraments have no redemptive qualities but are powerful experiences in the life of the believer.

Welcome Worship Center

A story of God's amazing grace.

Welcome Worship Center began construction of a new building in 2017. The first Sunday Service in the new sanctuary was February 4, 2018. The dedication of the new building was March 18, 2018. In May of 2021 it was completely paid for. We have no doubt it was something we could have only done with God.
